Sustainability is not just a value to be communicated, but a concrete commitment that is measured in everyday actions. For this reason, Eco Silver Paper® has chosen to collaborate with Tree-Nation, the international platform that promotes reforestation projects around the world. Every purchase, every project, every customer who chooses our products contributes to the growth of a real forest, capable of absorbing CO₂, regenerating ecosystems and improving the lives of local communities. To date, thanks to the contribution of our customers, we have already planted 1,000 trees — a milestone that represents a starting point for us, not a finish line.

Global figures for 2024: almost two million new trees planted

According to Tree-Nation’s latest quarterly report, the community has achieved extraordinary results:

• 1,925,623 trees planted worldwide;
• 128,773.5 tonnes of CO₂ offset;
• 45 active projects, with a new project in Nigeria.

Behind these figures are people, territories and species coming back to life. The forests planted not only help to absorb carbon dioxide, but also improve soil fertility, protect biodiversity and support local communities participating in reforestation projects. We are proud to be part of this global network, which translates economic growth into environmental growth.

Technology and transparency: sustainability can be measured

One of the aspects we appreciate most about Tree-Nation is its transparency. Today, 82% of active projects have a verified VQS report documenting the actual status of plantings. In 2024, the organisation also conducted validation visits in Kenya and Tanzania to directly check the quality of projects in the field. From 2025, Tree-Nation will introduce new satellite monitoring technologies (Enhanced Vegetation Analysis) to track the evolution of planted areas and calculate the amount of CO₂ actually offset with increasing accuracy. This guarantee of reliability confirms that sustainability today must be not only a goal but also a measurable fact.

A growing global community

In the second quarter of 2024, over 26,000 new users joined the Tree-Nation community, bringing the total to nearly 900,000 active members. Collective commitment grows hand in hand with awareness: during the global #EarthDay campaign, over 250,000 trees were funded in a single day.

Every tree planted represents a gesture shared by thousands of people and companies who, like us, believe that sustainability is a team effort. When a customer chooses an Eco Silver Paper® product, they are participating in this same global movement, contributing first-hand to a greener future.

Digital innovation at the service of nature

Tree-Nation continues to evolve, combining technology and the environment. Among the latest innovations is Tree AI, a multilingual virtual assistant that guides users in monitoring their environmental impact, helping them to visualise the trees they have planted, the tonnes of CO₂ offset and the projects they have supported. The user experience has also been improved: the platform now integrates physical and digital trees into its feed, offers new secure payment methods and a clearer interface for both private users and businesses.
